PACK
LEADERS

CruBox was created out of a love for group fitness, boxing to the beat and authentic boxing technicalities. Imagine a dark room, heavy beats and a motivational Pack Leader.

Our pack leaders have been carefully selected because of their unique qualities, and we believe that they will inspire you with creativity, grit and tenacity.

Bebe

Bebe
"Do something today that your future self will thank you for"

Bebe grew up in Singapore playing outdoor sports, spending every Summer holiday at tennis camp. She first began teaching group fitness in 2014 as a Pack Leader at CruCycle Singapore, the first studio of the CRU brand. As the Head of Training, Bebe will motivate you to find physical, mental and emotional strength in places you never new existed; to rise up against the doubt in your mind that limits you from being the person you were born to be.

Off duty, she experiments in the kitchen, practices pilates and yoga, surfs, and ventures out to tread unbeaten hike paths with her dogs… The more obscure the better.

Calvin

Calvin
"Come for the experience, stay for the change."

With his sisters, Calvin co-founded the CRU brand in an attempt to share a part of their life in Los Angeles with Singapore. His classes are built around the infamous CRU motto “Come for the experience, stay for the change", and you can just expect that!

Outside of the studio, he enjoys travelling to new territories looking for waterfalls to jump — a true adrenaline junkie!

Chris

Chris
"No goal was ever met without a sweat."

Chris got into triathlons in his late twenties after he retired from clubbing. Instead of coming home from Zouk at 5am, he started heading out at 5am to cycle over 100km. Eventually, he started his own gym and found his calling in making people sweat. Now a boxing enthusiast and often proud of wearing a black eye, you will find Chris teaching an upbeat, encouraging and motivational class at CruBox.

Known for his high energy classes, Chris has a way to make you keep going even when you think you have no more gas left in the tank. He believes moderation is the secret to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and reserves no judgement when he catches you scarfing down donuts after a workout.

Elijah

Elijah
"Your only limit is you."

Elijah, a former chef, was brought to a boxing class by his boss one day after work. This is how he stumbled onto his boxing journey. He fell in love with the sense of confidence and camaraderie that the sport promoted, which in turn motivated him to provide that same feeling to others. Thus, choosing to become a fitness boxing instructor.

His passion for heavy electronic dance music, along with his bold yet lighthearted personality, delivers an intense yet empowering session. You will always walk out of his class feeling brand new. Outside of Cru, you'll find him in the kitchen where he combines his love of great food with music as he whips up dinners while listening to artists like X Ambassadors, Dorothy and Barns Courtney.

Jeremy

Jeremy
"We don't play, we slay."

Jeremy believes in being present in every moment and seizing opportunities whenever they come by. It doesn't matter whether you're an expert or you have just started your fitness journey, as long as you can envision yourself pushing through to your highest potential, you can push yourself beyond boundaries.

He believes that everyone encompasses the strength to overcome anything in their lives, we just need some motivation and courage from within to break through to it, to be the best version of themselves.

He enjoys Electronic Dance Music, pop and throw-back tunes. So you can expect an ass-kicking class with sick beats, scorching energy and a dash of sass!

Jerusha

Jerusha
"Embrace imperfections and face everything with fortitude and grace."

Jerusha believes in rolling with the punches - to embrace the imperfections and face everything with fortitude and grace.

Her classes are hence aimed at finding your inner strength, physically and mentally, to fight your battles. Anything with a heavy beat, from rock and metal to pop, gets her pumped up and feeling ready to conquer the world; so expect to come out of her class feeling that same way as her.

Apart from teaching at CruBox, Jerusha is a law student who can be found with her head buried in a (text)book, indulging on local delights or hiding from the world and taking a nap. Her love for animals rivals her love for music and no pets are spared from her suffocating cuddles.

Sabrina

Sabrina
"It's not only how you move, it's also about what moves you."

After her time abroad, Sabrina found fitness when finding a community in Singapore. During a group class, while everyone was done and the last person was still at it, she saw how two trainers ran up to motivate and inspire that person right till the end. That is when she decided to develop herself as a trainer.

No matter what your relationship to fitness is, Sabrina's classes will ensure that there is a place for everyone. She will push you in hopes that you will push back, and eventually engage that resilience in your mind and body. With a background in theatre, she is passionate about bringing people together through movement and music.

Shandie

Shandie
"LET THE FIRE INSIDE YOU BURN BRIGHTER THAN THE FIRE AROUND YOU."

Shandie has always been a leader of #thesweatlife. In her younger days, she competed in dragon boat races before retiring from the sport and switching her passion to Muay Thai. Trainings were gruelling for both sports, and it moulded her into the tough cookie she is today. After honing her skills for over four years, Shandie felt that it was timely to share her knowledge and love for boxing with people who see the sport as a way to toughen up the mind and body.

Her background in Muay Thai has trained her to be fast and light on her feet, sharp attacks and swift defense movements are often the points of focus in class. Accompanied by EDM-based tracks with sick drops, Shandie will empower you to dig deep and tap into that fire within you.

Shiqeen

Shiqeen
"You owe it to yourself to become everything you’ve ever dreamed of being."

Shiqeen wasn’t always a sporty spice. She picked up sports at the age of 17, playing touch rugby for 6 years. After graduating with a diploma in Sports and Exercise Science, she went on to to become a flight attendant. While flying, Shiqeen would visit gyms and studios, trying out fitness programs all around the world which inspired her to take a personal training course.

Shiqeen loves high intensity workouts as they challenge the mind and body. Naturally, she got hooked on spinning and boxing, leading her to become a pack leader at CRU. When in class, expect her to be your personal hypegirl, cheering and pushing you past your limits. Dance (twerk) it out on the bag with ‘Shakween’ to hip hop and R&B tunes. We promise you a great sweaty time!
